Death Valley W. Entrance

Drove into Death Valley from the West side entrance. A mountain range separates East and West. A few years ago, we visited Death Valley but only had 1 day so did East side. So much to see and do. This side is very remote, and not much to do. Just south of here is a ghost town called Ballarat which is near the spot where Charles Manson hid out after Sharon Tate murders and it sat vacant for many years before being burnt down a few years ago.

Very remote resort, nice place and dark to see full moon at night. Saw a road runner in the morning too.

This is privately owned as they owned it before it was a National Park. Also gas is expensive because their electricity comes from their generator, and they have to use satellite phones for their office.
