Skull Valley, AZ (cool sounding name)

Took a scenic drive near campground. Noticed turnoff to a town called Skull Valley, AZ. [

Of course, Denzil had to see a town like that. It was the real deal, it was the site of a number of battles between Indians and settlers. Now it's mostly a ghost town, with a general store that is for sale in case anyone is interested! :) and a museum that's only open on Sunday afternoons.!

We just missed a beer tasting in Skull Valley at a Farm microbrewery called Barnstar. It is really neat in the Prescott National Forest. They allow picnics onsite and also have animals and two miniature horses that eat carrots onsite. Sounds neat.
