A Girl, my Lord, in a flat bed Ford .....

A town made famous by the Eagles Song, Take it Easy. The lyrics in the song say both, 'Standing on a Corner in Winslow, Arizona', ; & later "It’s a girl, my Lord, in a flatbed Ford, slowin’ down to take a look at me"….

Local townsfolk took notice they were famous from a song and donated the land to make a ‘Standing on a Corner park’ complete with Eagles statue, and a Flatbed Ford they purchased for display.

There is a shop and nearby ice cream store. Took Denzil’s pic so all his musical friends will enjoy him being there.
