So it turns out July is not an ideal month to visit New Orleans! ! Super hot and humid (110 F w/humidity); and all of Bourbon Street is torn up under construction.

ps if we think our jobs are hard, imagine these construction workers, underneath the city sewer, in New Orleans, LA in July! Wow.!
French Quarter has too many tourists, and beads, but lots of bands playing everywhere.
