A sign said a gruff Union commander was so enchanted with Savannah, GA that during the Civil War he ordered troops it's evacuation to spare the city.
Unique US city with many city squares w/ statues & benches. It's also known for old mansions, Spanish moss trees, and founder of US Girl Scouts. The bench in a city square was showcased in the Movie, 'Forest Gump'. So of course Denzil had to sit on the bench.
