Outer Banks NC (Ocracoke Island) - Blackbeard & Lighthouse

Ocracoke is the Southernmost Island in NC's Barrier Islands. Only accessible by ferry. Blackbeard the Pirate is rumored to host largest pirate gathering on Ocracoke. Also contains a lighthouse w/resident cat! Nice uncrowded island, wide beaches, unfortunately rained both days, & many mosquitos!.
