What could possibly go wrong? Fire road exit

Decided to go to Garnet, MT to see old ghost town. Drove 10 miles down a gravel road, not a good idea. Afterwards thought of staying there as it's late in day, and since it's Govt BLM land, so free.

Found nice stop @ top of mountain. However, it said emergency road only. Hm. we thought, they have a fire road for forest fires how would we know if there is a fire, without tv, radio or cell phones, or sirens...

Found another spot, had many animal carcasses so at 8 pm decided to drive 1 hr to Missoula. Big cities we have missed. A Walmart finally.
