Kitty Hawk, NC (Birthplace of Flight)

History is amazing! Two Brothers were determined, against all odds to fly, & they did! They didn't graduate high school, yet had guts & engineering skills to create the math to fly, much of which is still used today. Really cool when an old bi-plane flew over us there.

The hill is actually the site they fine tuned the glider. They climbed 1,000 times up the hill in Summer's heat. And 1st flight was in Winter's cold. Great location for travel inspiration & impossible odds achieved. 12 Seconds that changed history as we know it.
