Patti had another vacation day, so we all drove to Shanksville, PA about 3 hours from DC. It's the site of Flight 93 heroes on 9/11. The other 3, 9/11 planes had crashed into the World Trade Center, and the Pentagon. Flight 93 heard reports, & decided to fight back. They did their best & due to their actions, saved more lives as hijackers had another target. Very sad to hear their phone calls to their loved ones change from 'we are ok, but hijacked' ; to 'we heard news, and voted to storm cockpit back from hijackers'. Brave people...</p>
