9/11 Memorial in NYC

View Denzil & Brenda Eastern US Travels on Vanabout's travel map.

We visited the 9/11 site in NYC 10 years ago in 2007. Back then it was still untouched other than debris removal from 9/11/2001.
This time there was a moving monument, and heavy security. The US flag that flew over the World Trade Center after the attacks has been returned & displayed there.

Touching tribute film highlighting each victim's family story, narrated by family. Shocking to see the demolished basement stairs that survived and saved a group of people in the hallway. Hard to believe it has already been 16 years.
