Spent the night at East Harbor State Park near Sandusky, Ohio. Didn't know that Ohio has Islands? Decided to visit all 5 Great Lakes (Ontario; Erie; Huron; Michigan; Superior). Denzil had idea to take a little water sample from each. Ontario was crystal clear. Lake Erie...suspended particles, yuck. in 1960's Cleveland was famous for Lake that drained into Lake Erie caught on fire - several times - due to pollution. The EPA helped, but lately it's back to highly polluted again. A big red sign.. Don't touch the water. Right on the beach..
