Spend 2 nights at the Campground. Only planned to stay 1. The second day we had a full day. We saw people fishing offshore. Then salmon waiting to spawn near a gate. Hiked a nice trail to an overlook.
And then decided to hike the dunes. Bad idea in the heat of 86 F with no water. And last took the scenic drive around the park. Fall in Northern Michigan is really special with pretty color leaves, warm days, and cool nights, and sparkling Great Lakes all around.
