After AR trip, there is not enough time to drive thousands of miles back to S. Texas, and through Gulf to FL, and up to IL in time for Memorial Day wedding.

So we are back in IL to regroup, review items in shed to downsize, and see if we can plan a next adventure, possibly South FL up coast to Maine along East Coast. Will keep everyone posted!

Spent the night before and the day of surgery in hospital in Jonesboro, AR with Denzil's dad. He lives about 1 hr from there, but there is no hospital, or anything else there, so surgery is in a bigger city hospital. Surgery turned out great only 1 stent put in, which for 88 is great news!.

Can't help but think of an Officer and a Gentleman movie when you are in that town! . Spent the night there, after 14 hour drive from New Mexico, enroute to Arkansas. and another 10 hours drive next day.

Had planned to visit Big Bend National Park in S. Texas, then N. Padre Island, and work way along Gulf to LA, MS, FL, and through NC to end up in IL in end of May. But drove to AR for Denzil's dad in hospital with a stent due to heart issues.
