Back in Mesa again. Nice to be back in the warm weather. Unfortunately, Denzil caught a cold form working on his jeep in the cold storage unit, so he has a bad cold. And we will spend the night inside watching tv new years celebration. Hope to get better soon.

Went to drop off decorations for the graves in Freeport for Brenda's Dad, Grandma, and Niece. Drove past Brenda's parents old house to remember Christmas Eve's past. Many fond memories of Christmas on the back porch room with music and food. Sure do miss those times.

On way back drove through Rockford's festival of lights on Christmas Eve. Was nice to see some things remain the same, while so many change.

Carter had a bday celebration, and Sheri combined it with a nice festive get-together for Christmas at her house in Byron.

She is so creative and the house was so beautifully decorated for Christmas. Everyone had a great time laughing, enjoying each other's company, and we enjoyed catching up on everything new since we left on trip in August. Sure do miss everyone.

The next day after we got in Rockford ran a lot of errands, (DMV), and then Brenda got a chance to meet up with her former friends and Denzil met up with a friend and former neighbor. Pat took a group picture and then her sister was going to be on the return flight with us, and use the picture to find us in crowd going from Rockford back to Mesa. Was so nice to catch up with everyone!. Thanks Pat, Merrie-Lynn, Debby, Melissa, Dave, and Fred for coming to see me. Was so very nice to see you all and catch up. Miss you all.

Flying back from Mesa, AZ to Rockford, IL on a direct flight on Allegiant. Nice they have nonstop flight at Christmas so that we can leave the van at the airport, and fly back into Mesa. Instead of driving across country in the snow and ice to get there could be scary. Was funny because you are supposed to be there '2 hours early for flights' hey no problem we're spending the night in our campervan in the $7/day parking, so we're right there. and return flight lands at midnight, so we'll sleep there again.

Went from cacti at airport to snow on ground, and then snow around the nuclear plant in Byron (hi Dan and Sheri ! ) Looking forward to seeing everyone soon.
