Most NE Pt in US (W Quoddy LIghthouse, ME) - 1st US Sunrise

We previously had been to the other 3 corners of US (Most NW; Most SW; Most SE. Now we checked off the most NE point in Lubec, Maine.
Stayed also at the most Eastern US campground. Coastal views all around. It was also only 2 miles to Canada on a bridge from here, so drove there also. The Lighthouse was pretty on a peninsula. Also the campsite we stayed at had first sunrise in US @ campsite, so took pictures from there in am. Had to wake up at 5 am, but worth it.

Only International Peace Park in World (FDR's Canada home)

Drove across bridge to Campobello, New Brunswick, Canada To visit FDR childhood house, where he was very active, and while there came down with polio, and was paralyzed thereafter. It is also the ONLY International Peace Park in the World. IInteresting see both Countries flags out the window, and flown at same level. Visited the beach where 18 foot waves create smooth rocks on the beach. Last saw a ukelele band from Univ. of Maine performing in a coffee shop there.

Acadia NP (Schoodic Peninsula) - go here, more remote...

Remote peninsula but still part of Acadia National Park. Took 1.5 hours from our last campground, which was the 'closest' one to it.
Was nice to have a rain and chilly day and relax after nonstop busy the last 3 weeks.

Acadia Nat Park (Cadillac Mountain; Sandy Beach & Blowhole)

Apparently Acadia National Park is crowded all year!.
Due to overcrowding, Park Rangers have to shut down road, until they return, to let more people drive up the mountain! A ranger had advised us not to try it luckily.
We went up around 10 am. And then to Sandy Beach, which probably would be nice in July. But in September people wear coats there.

Boston, MA (Paul Revere's Lanterns; & Boston Massacre site)

Toured Boston's Freedom Trail including: Old North Church, the location where Paul Revere's "One if by land, and two if by sea" signal was sent. We took tour to walk same steps to Bell Tower as Paul Revere did all those years ago!!
